The Indigo Bag

Scarlet Gray is a textiles designer based in London who re-invents deadstock denim into her own Denim Tweed using a combination of laser, embroidery machine and handcraft. Her values and approach to sustainable design aligned so nicely with mine and I jumped at the chance to collaborate with her. We came together to design a unique upcycled handbag that showcases her beautiful textiles as well as a new approach to redesigning deadstock denim jeans. With contrasting panels, statement seams, unique pockets, inside zip pocket (utilising a fly zip) and repurposed belt loops this mini bag offers an elevated and unique take on sustainable accessory design.
