In 2024 I was approached by Sussex Tweed, a sustainable micro-mill based in East Sussex, to work with a length of their handwoven cloth that was damaged in production. I was delighted to collaborate with such talented craftsman and high quality materials and saw an opportunity to bring new life to cloth they could no longer utilise. I transformed the textiles into a collection of unique, reversible denim Knot Bags created using four pairs of discarded jeans. Each bag is a different shade of indigo denim that compliments Sussex Tweed's turquoise woven cloth as well as showcasing a range of deconstructed denim details; a signature here at Salvedge.
