After graduation Madeleine joined sustainable denim brand, White Weft, as studio assistant and has helped founder, Janelle Hanna, to revive and redesign denim jeans through a variety of techniques such as darning, patchwork, upcycling and hand embroidery over the past few years. Through working so closely with this infamous textiles Madeleine fell in love with its versatility, durability and the way that it can tell the story of its past through fading and wear. Her love for this textiles is evident in the Denim Deluge series as well as many projects for her brand Salvedge.
