After graduation Madeleine joined sustainable denim brand, White Weft, as studio assistant and has helped founder, Janelle Hanna, to revive and redesign denim jeans through a variety of techniques such as darning, patchwork, upcycling and hand embroidery over the past few years. Madeleine fell in love with the versatility and durability of denim as well as the way that it can tell the story of its past through fading and wear. Her fascination with this textiles has played a pivotal role in her creative development. This collection contains her favourite projects during her time at White Weft.
